GUITAR LESSONS ?!!! ?
February 26th, 2010does anybody know any sites for guitar lessons,
or know if theres any music shops/tuitors in or around stevenage/hertfordshire.
i want to learn guitar probably from a proper instructor btw, not just a try see if you can do it on youtube ect. (:
I think YouTube is the best for guitar lessons. Some youtubers make very good tutorial videos for specific songs

Don’t you know your own little high-street? There might well be a music shop there, with cards in the window from guitar tutors – but a guitar is a social instrument – is there anyone at school who can show you the first steps and point you in the right direction?
Once you have the basics of up and down-stroke strumming, timing, arpeggios, and the ability to read chord-boxes and make the right shape, you can use web-sties such as http://www.chordie.com to get the music for songs that you know and want to play. I believe it has never been easier or cheaper to learn to play guitar!

Listen slick, trust me i learnt guitar on my own and its way more rewarding. Don’t bother with lessons, if you get guitar lessons you will only sound like your teacher. If you self teach you’ll develop your own style. Trust me, i’m a docter.

Well If you cannot find a music store in the local phone book or online that is near your house. You can always post an advertisement in the newspaper or town flyer looking for a guitar instructor.
Also ask some of the kids at school or college or work if they know anyone who plays or any music stores.
